A Journey To Morocco

Going to Morocco, one of the most mysterious land for Arabs too. A small Nikon film camera, a ticket for a bus from Naples to Casablanca (before Ryan-Air, less expensive way for many Moroccans to back home from Italy) and then two weeks across the country. No destinations already chosen. Just traveling.

Naples/Casablanca, the journey by bus

Somewhere close to Central Garibaldi Station of Naples. The first contact for the travel is in the square in front of the station. There you can pay in cash the ticket. Later the line of travellers walks away towards this lonely meeting point street.

The bus is chosen to travel also by family, as this mother and daughter of Casablanca.

Before Gibralter, Spain. The bus stops before the Gibralter's Strait and unloads some merchandise that couldn t pass through the control border. They will be loaded on little ships getting around the police and to sail to Moroccan coast.

Passing throught the frontier between Spain and Morocco, the border between Europe and Africa. Free city of Ceuta, Spanish city in Moroccan land.
